2017 #AmericanPianistsAwards winner Drew Petersen was awarded a career grant from Salon de Virtuosi and will perform at the organization's annual gala:

We welcome all of our members and friends to join us as we open the Salon’s 2017-2018 season with our acclaimed Gala Awards Concert, which will take place on Tuesday , October 17, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the elegant Kosciuszko Foundation, 15 East 65th Street. The concert will feature performances by six of the winners of this year’s Career Grants: The Aizuri Quartet, Ania and Piotr Filochowski, Ariel Horowitz, Asi Matathias, Drew Petersen and Yun-Chin Zhou,* hosted by the renowned musicologist Robert Sherman. The concert will be followed by an elegant buffet reception where there will be an opportunity to mix and mingle with the artists.
