Great Homes / Great Music
Great Homes / Great Music is the magical bi-annual fundraiser for the American Pianists Association. This event features two internationally acclaimed pianists performing in outstanding homes for a limited audience. Only 100-200 guests listen to great music, tour two homes, sip champagne and enjoy an elegant dinner.
In 2008, a special Great Homes / Great Music is planned in the new estate of Christel DeHaan. Instead of two homes, the event will take place in her newly-built residence on Michigan Road. Still featuring both a classical and jazz concert, party-goers will be treated with a tour of her home and dinner.
Past homes on the tour include Al and Kathy Hubbard (1999), Charlie and Jackie Davis (1999), Anthony and Marla Smith (2000), Bruce and Denise Cordingley (2000), Lew and LuAnn Derrickson (2002), Chancellor Gerald and Jean Bepko (2002), and Melvin and Bren Simon (2004).
