Ryan Frick brings his breadth of experience to the American Pianists Association after spending time in retail music, distribution & logistics and corporate sector cybersecurity. He grew up playing the piano and saxophone and received his degree in Jazz Studies with a Music Technology emphasis from Webster University in St. Louis.

Ryan says “I was excited at the opportunity to bring my skills back to a music-focused organization that combines my love of music and business experience. To be able to hear and work with the phenomenal young pianists in the APA family is a real thrill.”

Ryan is a lifelong Midwesterner who calls Indianapolis home after growing up in central Illinois, southern Indiana and spending time in St. Louis. In his spare time he enjoys going to the movies and curating his extensive collection of music and movies.
